humming sound - need input

i have a humming sound, sounds like from the front passenger side, only when in motion, doesn't seem to get any louder when accelerating, I just had bridgestone potenza g-009's loaded last week. It kinda sounds like the electrical transformer hum on the street pole.

yup, I took the tires off and it turned out to be a shim, that was rusted, was wedge between the caliper and back of the pad and must have been vibrating enough to cause this hummin sound. thnx

Hate to bust up your thread, but im having the same issues. Mine is on the driver side. It appears to be the worse going 40mph and under. Not while im pressing the brakes though. It vibrates somewhat and rattles my air vents. I need your help. I was thinking about just replacing the rotors since they have 200,000 miles on them
