My 95 SE 5-Sp makes a very unusual noise when I turn off the engine. Its not loud enough to hear when i'm in the car but once you open the hood it is clearly noticable. The best way that i can describe it is a literal grinding noise. High pitched, but grinding. It doesnt seem to be comming from inside the motor itself. And it happens a good 2-3 seconds after the car is shut off for only about 2-3 seconds. It happens every time it is shut off. The car runs perfect; no problems what so ever. The noise is hard to pin-point due to the fact that it happens so quickly after the car is turned off and because it happens for a very short period of time. It seems to be comming from the intake manifold area. Does anyone have any insight on what it could be? Has anyone experienced this too?
