electrical problem

electrical problem

ok so i have a 98 maxima, I have searched everywhere and cant figure this one out( im very bad at electrical stuff). so i thought id ask some ppl here. So i pull in my driveway and i go to turn on my overhead light and i get nothing... rear one also doesnt work and the trunk and door lights dont work... can anyone tell me if a certain fuse is blown and if so where to find it... plz and thank you

you blew a fuse. pull your fuse panel cover and its labeled on the back. its very easy to change the fuse. your car should have spares on the fuse block.

yeah i looked at the fuse but i dont get which one to change and which fuse block would i look at the dash one or the engine bay one?

ok so i looked in my haynes manual and i think i taced the probem back to fuse 26... it has these items conected to it:
trunk room lamp, spot lamp

but it does not say anything about the door lights

just pull them all out one by one and start replacing ne blown ones. this way u'll have them all checked and replaced. i dont know how to describe a blown fuse, but when u c one u'll know. the metal thingy inside the glass thingy will be broken. :-D

Is there a tool to check the fuses?

I need to find what part is causing me trouble as my dealer could not help.

And I cannot reproduce my problem of car stopping suddenly while I am driving.
