To take the knock sensor out does that require me taking the whole head off or is there another way i can take it out?

 

search around there are many posts about this its not needed to remove it just get some extensions and and swivel piece and your good

 

yes what he said, I used a 3/8 wrench 2 extensions, u-joint and 12mm socket

and when you are installing the new k/s a old hanger to bend up, little hands (kid,girlfriend) or tape in the socket to hold the bolt in place when you are starting the bolt will help alot

should take like 30mins

 

Not sure what you mean with head. If you mean the IM then no you don't need to pull it off. Extension and swivel. It's a pain to get the bolt back in after tho. I screw my hand up getting it back in. Everything is like a razor blade in there.
