How do I remove bumper lights?

Hey there,

I just ordered some clear corners for my bumper and needed to remove the old yellow ones. I'm pretty sure you just wrap a rag or cloth around a screwdriver and pry each piece out, but it would be a shame to break something so I thought I'd ask first.

Any advice?

Thanks,
Zach

pop the longer light out with a screw driver, the unscrew the small one. does not require much effort.

Just take a flat head and stick it between the two halves of the bumper lights and pry the outer (reflector) off. After prying the outer piece off, you will see the middle piece is held on by a screw.

Ah, cool. Yeah, I found it in the manual too...I had a feeling when I saw no exterior screws that it would be something unnecessarily complicated :P

The clears look sweet though!

Thanks,
Zach

you will find that nissan has a ton of interesting ways of holding things down without the use of screws all over the car. they really like the plastic clips.

kick the bumper really hard and theyll pop out for sure... haha. (dont do this)

just get a flat head with a old cloth. pry out the first side piece. if its your first time you might have to use a little force. then remove the screw. then the front piece should come off. pretty simple.
