Alright, well summer is coming and I wouldn't mind a new set of rims for my car. I am still unsure if I will buy rims but I was looking on tirerack and they had these knockoff Evo5s for $136 a rim. Not bad IMO.

I plan on keeping the stock suspension setup and the car is not lowered. Anyone have 18" Mille Milgia Evo5s on their stock setup? Anyone have the knockoffs on their car? For a shipped price of $580 it seems like a deal.

They would look great espcially the silver color with your black car.
I feel it would look even better with a drop.
I agree with Nissan 6's statement. above mine

I agree with the above, stay stock if you're not going to drop it.
Considering that those wheels with decent tires would be about $1100, and suspension setup (struts, shocks, springs, ect or maybe coilovers) $1000, it doesnt seem worth it. I would much rather put the $2k into performance.

Yeah, it all depends what you're looking to get out of your car - wether you want it to be a straight line beast, or more fun in the twisties or whatever.Originally Posted by 99BlackMaxMS

If I were going to start my car from scratch again, I'd probably do the $1k Suspension/$1k Performance route.

you can get a strut/spring setup for much less than that.
if you favoring towards performance, 18's might not be the best addition for your car.
bottom line the wheels look good, if you want to put them on and dont want to lower the car also, then do it. you car will look like its a 4x4 period. If you can live with that and want to do it.... do it.

i recommend you to get the wheels first....since you'll put the wheels on..look at how ridiculous the car is.....n then go..man..i spent so much on wheels.....don't wanna get rid of them...thats when you go..i guess i'll drop it n spend another $700 on coilovers..-= )

I'd say drop it first, a car look good dropped period, even if its on stock wheels. then when you add the wheels later, it completes the look.

Yeah eff the wheels for now get the drop first. If I had to do it again when I first brought my 2k wheels I would've did the performance, suspension, and wheels all one time and brought them all of the org.

That would be "done", and "bought". just kidding, but seriously, do the drop first. I have seen so many maxs around here bone stock with chrome or black rims. Their cars look rediculous but they think they look nice because of new rims. I'm sure not everyone is like us on the forum and see a car with rims and notices the gap first, but owell. Drop it and wait a month or two for the rims.Originally Posted by MaxedOut99SE

And considering I park in a dirt parking lot filled with 6" deep potholes everywhere...I have decided to stick with the stock suspension and 16" 5 spokes for now. Maybe if our school gets a paved parking lot next year....
