Motor/Tranny Mount question
Motor/Tranny Mount question
Well, I bought what was supposed to be four motor and tranny mounts and got three of the four.
I received the following Nissan part #'s:
11270-96E10
11220-85E00
11320-85E02
I was informed that the following part # is not made by Nissan anymore:
11331-96E15
Which one of the four mounts is this one, and where can I locate the best quality replacement? (Such as Moog for example)

that's because the car only has 1 trans mount.
the other 3 are motor mounts.
11320-85e02 = rr left with manual trans (VG)
11220-85e00 = fr left Transmission mountwith manual trans (VG)
11270-96e10 = fr (VE)
11270-85e00 = Fr with manual trans (VG)
11340-85e00 = Rr right with manual trans (VG)

Hmm. Thanks Brian. This is what was on my order.

Item: Engine, Mounts, Mounts, Mount, Mount, manual trans, front, right - ve30de - VE30DE
Part # 11270-96E10
Item: Engine, Mounts, Mounts, Mount, Mount, manual trans, front, left - ve30de - VE30DE
Part # 11220-85E00
Item: Engine, Mounts, Mounts, Mount, Mount, manual trans, rear, right - ve30de - VE30DE
Part # 11331-96E15
Item: Engine, Mounts, Mounts, Mount, Mount, manual trans, rear, left - ve30de - VE30DE
Part # 11320-85E02

The second to last one was deemed "not made by Nissan anymore" and the wierd thing is that it was called a "Buffer ASM."
So, for a '92 SE, manual (I apologize, I should've clarified that earlier), what part # am I missing for the fourth and final mount?

Seriously, though, if I get this on time you would be helping me out more than you realize. Everyone needs a savior.

You are, hands down, a great business person that cares about his customer's situation. Thank you, again. You've easily made my week.

Those polys also might make the engine vibrate a bit more than they were built to handle. I'll gladly go inside of the box on this one, thinking it's about what the car was built for.
Brian, you've made me a believer.
Came in five minutes ago and it's perfect. OEM, new and immaculate I have to give you a nod for the perfection personified. I really appreciate the timing and ability on your end. I've got most of the parts I need (sadly), but as soon as I find something I need that you supply I'll be placing an order thru you. I really appreciate everything and highly recommend your services to anyone on this board.

My .02 cents. More expensive does not =better/greater either. IMO, Polyfilled mounts are cheaper and better. Stronger and will last as long/longer than stock. I polyfilled all 4 mounts with a modified engine (mild cam) and felt NO difference when compared to stock mounts in terms of vibration or drivability. Only if I grabbed the steering wheel tightly and focused on the vibrations did it appear to be slightly increased. But, I rank this scenario along with the concept of the butt dyno. It was all in my head as I was looking for it.
Glad you got your mounts. It doesn't sound like you had the time or was interested in taking the time needed to polyfill your mounts. You did what you needed to do. I sought only to suggest an alternative.
