vortech v1 SC

I'm about to buy the Vortech V1 SuperCharger from AndysAutoSport.com, I'm curious to know if anyone has installed this supercharger on there maxima and how they feel about it. Did u notice a major increase, just please state your opinions, or any facts you may have.

is this a complete kit that sell? i thought we had to piece kits together these days. what are they asking for as far as price?

the asking price is approx $2,000. The description states that it comes with everything for a direct bolt on, doesnt say anything about not having piping or anything, take a look.

Those are not "Complete Kits". That is only the price for a NEW Vortech Head Unit ONLY. To get a full kit, you have to either purchase the kit used on the .org or you can purchase a V1 Supercharger Starter Kit from me and build your own kit how you want it. Vortech head units are on ebay for around $600-$900 and the entire kit to peice together will run you $2400-$2800. Stillen was the only company to make a Supercharger Kit for the Maxima and they have recently been discontinuned. They ran $3500-$3800 for a pretty much bare-bones kit.

I guess you've never noticed that we have a Supercharged/Turbo section?

Getting the Supercharger made my car slower... it added 35 lbs, and it robs power due to its parasitic nature.
