I made the bumper and even tried to make molds for them. The molds still need some work. They fit the factory bumper for the 2k2-2k3 grill.

Factory hood. My body shop cut and welded the factory hood with those vents. The format kinda copies the back bumper. No bindo or FG on the hood. It dropped the temp under the hood a bunch and it seems to sticj the road better at high speeds. I got the idea from Nascar. I seems that Nascar has been trying to cheat by making the hole much bigger, so Nascar has regulated the size of that hole.

I like it, especially the custom hood. Unique!

You need some lightweight show wheels now to set it off real good.

Trying to get sponsered. That way I have my everyday wheels and a set just for shows....less cleaning. I have had one offer but they were ugly wheels.

Thanks for the props.

well Latin, been awhile, Love those pics......... In regards to the hood, i was thinking along a similar line, but I am considering putting in a NACA duct,BUT il like the fact that your design draws the heat out of the engine bay via speed and acceleration, thus improving the Laminar flow. Plus with the added benefit of cooling the bay while having the supercharger is paramount to the life extension of both the engine and supercharger... well done my friend

Wow your 5th gen looks awesome. Congrats on first place, are you auto or manual? I agree NismoNoob, some show specific wheels would look awesome.

Thanks for the comments. It is an average of about 50 degrees cooler under the hood.

I am auto... custom auto wtih NRH transmittion. Starting to have to work some problems out. It seems that I am making too much power. Should have it all worked out in the next few weeks.

Still thinking about it. Depends on if I can get her reliable enough for the long trip. More HP = less reliable

LOL isnt that a Sarona front bumper? it looks identical to mine I think you just modded it a bit to fit the 02-03 grill and side markers...definately a sick look

....nice whip and nice rims (they look similar to mine also ahha)

Looks great. Only thing I would change would be to clear out the headlights and paint them body color.

They are painted body color?!?!?!?! and I like the turn signal yellow to of set the color a little. I did the clear for a few moths and felt it looked to plain for me. I like the clear look on light colored cars.

is that condensation in your headlights?
lookin good.
just out of curiosity, is there any downsides to those little valve cover air filters? cause i'd much rather have those than the hoses going all over the place.

Yes that is condesation.... I get it every once in a while when I wash it.

I don't know any down side to the valve cover air filter. I have to since I am boosted.

Well I think I'm gonna get one so I have less mess in the engine bay, the only reason they route it to the intake is so it can get filtered air anyway, right?

No, the vent lines right up with the firewall. That is where most of the air is forced thru. When the air goes thru the block or under the car and hits the fire wall, it is sucked out of the top of the hood. With that dip in the air flow were the hood and wind shield hit it creates a vacuum in the airflow and pulls all the air up.

Just look at cars that the hood pops from the firewall (like some of the Hondas) the hood will raise up at greater speeds.

Sorry for the long answer. But, no more water. Just cooler under hood temps.
