This morning at around 9:30am. On I610, for those who of you that lives in New Orleans. I was going to CompUSA. I was speeding as usual, I got a new radar detector, so no fear! Anyway, as I was speeding, I noticed up ahead of me was a yellow IS300. So, I preceded to speed up so I can check the car out, and to see what the car was capable of. As I was catching up to the IS300, I saw this new white Celica GT that was trying to play with the IS300 as well. As I mash the gas, automaticI passed the Celica. There were some traffic, so the IS300 was still ahead of me. All three of us were weaving through traffic like mad men. As traffic cleared, I was right on the IS300's butt, but let him got away. He weave onto the next lane, I tried to do the same, but here came the Celica again. So, I couldn't pass. I got stuck behind a slow moving car. As the Celica passed, I changed lane, and was on the Celica's ***. I hammer the gas more, and passed the Celica, switching to the far lane. I saw the IS300 up ahead, he was exiting. Oddly, I was going the same way anyway. The Celica was behind me, seem like all of us were going to CompUSA or something. The IS300 seem to handle pretty well. As we took the exit, there was this very curvy stretch of the road. The IS300 was ahead of me...again, with me about 3-4 cars length behind him,(stupid traffic)and the Celica was on my ***. As I took the curve, I couldn't take it as fast I wanted to. My car is basically stock, I don't have any FSTB, and the likes. As I turned, I could tell I took it quite fast, I could hear my tires screeching. I must look like a fool to that Celica driver behind me. Anyway, we all got to this light, with each of us behind one another because we all had to take a right turn. As the IS300 turned, I turned too, and tried to speed pass it. I didn't really had a chance to test out the IS300 because the IS300 turned into a Lexus dealership. I found out later that it was a salesmen taking the IS300 for a spin. So, I preceded to go on my way when I saw the Celica in my rear view mirror. I speed up, and noticed the Celica was trying to catch up to me. Up ahead was a slow moving BMW Z3.(lady was driving) The Z3 slow down, and turned, which I had to do too. We were both going to CompUSA. As I slow down behind the Z3, the Celica slow down and go right next to me, there were two guys in the Celica. They seem like they were disappointed in not having a chance to go against me. I was disappointed too because I didn't have a chance to rip them a new hole! Well, maybe it's because I have a automatic that I couldn't catch up to the IS300. Although, the IS300 is an auto also. From what I can tell, the IS300 handles much better than my Maxima, both us were stock basically. I wasn't impressed by the Celica. Btw, I'm sure the Celica was a stick shift because it hung with me pretty well. I wasn't too happy because I chalked this up as a loss to the IS300. Damn automatic! Too bad I just don't have the money to do any mods right now. Oh well...maybe I just can't drive. P.S. Forgive my grammatical skills, I know it's kind of messy. I'm just too hyped up!
