I want to buy an extra set of seat heaters/switches and put those in my back seats. I'm going to put the switches above or below the ashtray in the center console. Do you think this would work?
Thanks for any input

seat heaters

Can you buy the seat heaters on their own. I am getting leather seats and want to put the heaters in. Where can you get them. Good question!

I'm going to call Courtesy Nissan to see if they sell them. If they don't then I'll just go to a junk yard and rip some out of a wrecked max.

heaters

Are the kids turning into freezer pops? Are the heaters seperate wires that run under the covers? Great idea. I'll have to think about this one.

Haha, no kids here, just something I thought would be a good/unique project. I haven't gotten the leather covers off yet so I don't know what the actual heater looks like. As for wiring there is a harness coming out of the bottom of the seat with 3 wires. I'd have to assume they are positive, negative and ground. As for how to wire up the new heaters I really have no idea where to begin. Mabye someone with some electrical knowledge can chime in here. Thanks for the great link BTW, they have seveal installers in my area.

seats

I would get a manual and just wire like the fronts. Include the relays and fuse and such. Did they change the seats after 97. I was looking on a link and I think I got the wrong seat kit. I hate that. I thought they would be the same. Do you have a pic of yours?

Go to the seats link in the menu. There's two pics. OT but does anyone know a good photo hosting site that doesn't mind hotlinking?(yahoo or something similar)
