One of those days I'm glad I modded.

While taking a ramp from one highway to another, which is a really hard right. A driver(a$$hole BIG red suv) decide to merge right crossing the medium and almost hitting a rail right at me. Causing me to brake, swerve, and almost collided with a truck on my right.

That dude almost took out my preggy wife, son, and myself on this Easter. If it wasn't for sticky tires, upgraded suspension, and a few Angles. It would of been a sad holiday for what would of been left of my family. A stock maxima without a doubt wouldn't of steered clear fast enough but rather lost traction collided or rolled over and burned.

Thanks Maxima.org for the proformance advice, all my Friends here, and Kickcaffine for the tires.

Sweet suspension / brake mods = excellent accident avoidance capabilities...Heavy-duty brakes going on as soon as I recieve the rest of my parts...Glad everyone (and the car) is OK.

I hear you, mods have saved my butt a few times... most recent being last week. Some POS Cavalier that apparently had no brake lights did a panic stop when the driver saw a cop in the other lane. I had taken my eyes off the road for a second to grab my phone so by the time I realized what was going on, there was no time do anything but swerve at ~50mph. Car handled it beautifully. For a second, I thought it was going on a flat bed back to Michael's house.

My BBK has saved my butt numerous times! You gotta tail people up in Seattle in order not to get cut off like 10 times per commute

I was kind of thinking more of a potato launcher for my car..1 next to each foglamp so I have perfect aim and the car that cuts me off it shouldn't be too noticeable either.. I'd like to have a switch for it wired on my steering wheel or something. Perhaps MaxPowr91 can help me with that project

Haven't had too many of those situations where it comes down to the car being destroyed as much as being in ego boosting situations

same thing though
