What's the problem?
Just leave the damper and the FPR in place on the 5th gen fuel rail and hook up your lines. Simple as that! Why create a problem where none exists?

Use the FPR from the 4th gen fuel rail then. The damper is the FPR looking thing on the inlet side of the fuel rail, FRP is on outlet/return side.

S-E-A-R-C-H!
If you wanted a simple bolt-on that didn't require any accumulation of information and knowledge or any thinking, you should have settled for a necker's-**** on your steering wheel!

fuel enters through the damper and exits through the FPR
