Where to set the 00VI switch over point?

Where to set the 00VI switch over point?
I am curious, of the guys who have dynoed where did you find it best to set your switch over point on you 00VI? Currently I have mine set at 5100, I would like to have an idea of where other people are setting theirs before I get on the dyno tomorrow. I am five speed if that makes and difference.

You are going to need to put it on the dyno regardless to find the best spot for your car. Typically you can find the best spot by doing one dyno with the VIAS closed, and another with the VIAS tied open. From there just set the switch over point where the two graphs overlap

It's almost in the same nature as when people start asking what corr % values they used etc. It all goes back to optimizing your own set-up. I'm preaching to what I thought was the choir though, come on humans!
Every set-up is different. GL on the dyno.
I'm going to get mine strapped on the humblemaker Saturday...

Does anyone have an opinion on how I plan to "tie" the intake manifold open and closed? Will that work properly?

Do 2 dyno runs: one with the 00VI de-activated, a second one with it tie-wrapped open. Where the two torque curves cross is the optimal point. Given that it'll take a split second to open up, set your switch 50-100 RPM before the cross0ver point.
To quote so ballplayer, "Déjà vu all over again!"

yeah thats what I ended up doing, and it worked fine. I did not get the numbers that i was looking for so I think there is something wrong, but the car pulls very strong. I set my switch over point at 4900, I originally had it at 5000 because that is where the two lines intersected. I will post in the dyno section, but the results are 190whp and 190 wtq. I have what I consider a good tune, I was able to get it on point with the VAFCII by using at the most +4 on the fuel side. I plan on going to the track soon...the car feels much faster that it has ever been... and I ran 14.2 on the stock manifold, and ecu at 97 mph. I would how ever like to figure out where my 20missing peak horse power are. Stay tuned for a post in the dyno section.

Mine was at 5000, but It seemed like it wasnt enough so I went down a few hundred rpm to 4700 as well and it feels better now even untuned. Im still waiting to go get tuned with my neo so Im sure that will help alot too.
