I feel like an idiot for asking this question, but here goes. I have looked through all the TSBs and searched and everything and I can't find any pictures of the thermostat on my car. I think the dealer may have given me the wrong one but I'm not sure if I'm looking at the right thing on the motor. Any help with pictures or a description of the thermostats on the 3.5s??

 

its on the passenger side of the engine connected to the lower coolant hose. most of it is internal. the only part you see is the metal tube that connects to the hose.
you remove it by removing two bolts (10mm i think)
