yup....as gismo-t said I will be selling the maxima soon! so i gotta get rid of all these things. I rarely use my car so Im either just gonna keep the money...pay off some student loans or buy something fun and sporty...who knows.

The retrofit is very RARE....i currently have the only one of this kind. maxprivate is currently doing the same setup and i believe he is spending a lot more than i did for parts alone. prices have gone up since i bought my parts.

on another note...someone BUY the headlights! they are literally the best headlights money can buy. The ZKW lenses alone are going for $300/pair! TL projector goes for $250/pair! ballasts + brand new bulbs go for $250/pair! and R34 headlights go for $200/pair! labor is upwards of 10 hours! dont make me part these out!

 

Do you have pictures of the lights installed. Beam patterns or something?

Are they water-resistant with the housing cut out like that?

 

i have sealed them up using duct tape. i used duct tape so it can be removed and the lights can be re aimed easily.

just wondering, what is the zkw lens? what is its function

 

A projector consists of the reflector bowl and the lens. The ZKW lens is a lens off of ZKW projectors used in some 3 series bmw's. These lenses are very rare and very clear. The clarity of the lenses allow for more light and a very sharp cut off line. These lenses are a direct fit for the TL projectors and further enhance them. The TL projector bowl + zkw lens is without a doubt the best projectors you can find. Go to Hidplanet.com/forums. On there you will see how good this set up is. No doubt it is the best you can get. People pay about $300-350 for the ZKW projectors just to use the lenses.
