Thinking about getting 300zx calipers

Ok, I think I wanna get some 300zx front calipers off of ebay for my 2001 maxima... but I need to know a few things first:
1. Will 300zx calipers of any year fit my car?
2. Will I need new brake lines, or need to change anything else on the braking system to make the swap?
3. I understand that they come in different thinknesses, and which one should I get, or does it matter?
4. What exactly is the difference in braking performance between the 300zx calipers and the stock 2001 maxima calipers?
5. What exaclty does "Z32" mean when speaking of these calipers?

Thanx in advance for helping me out

Z32 is the chassis code for 300ZX.

Look here in the Brakes section, I've added lots of links for this brake upgrade:

The 4th through 6th Gen threads on the Z32 brakes should answer many of your questions.

No problem at all; specifics are always good to have.

Yes a HUGE difference over the tiny 5th gen brakes. You're panning to get 6th gen rotors? If so I have a set forsale with under 10k on them. They are RTP Slotted rotors.
