3.5 short block

From reading all the other posts, I think I found you can use just the 3.5 bottom end with the heads, cams, injection from the 3.0. Has anyone done this? I am looking for low end torque more than top end HP.

Thanks,
neilca

well the tq would increase just by going with a 30. What you mentioned was done by tilley a while back.

3.0 to 3.5 = more low end torque.

Can I use the 3.5 bottom end and heads with the 3.0 injection? I don't want to deal with the fly by wire conversion. Does the use of the heads improve HP and torque?

Thanks,
neilca

I think perhaps a trip to read the stickies is in order.

The TB conversion is cake.
By the time you mix and match heads etc. your going to wish you had done a full 3.5 swap.
You need to use the 3.5 intake manifolds if you use the heads too.

Who's flying anywhere?

Jk, but seriously, since when does using the 3.5's fuel setup mean you have to use the drive-by-wire throttlebody?

95% of this information is in the stickies. Judging by his posts, he has not spent any remarkable amount of time there.
