That "doug" guy should let his guard down more and tell them what he really thinks....

I know nothing (for the dictionary-challenged, that means I'm ignorant) about NOS and understand a 150 shot on a VQ would cause all sorts of pleasant metal grinding sounds....

if you read the whole thread someone corrects that statement later, one Maxima with a S/C and another with 100-shot, someone just got carried away and posted that. good kill though.

FYI Bill, Dont be so quick to think that. With ~4-6 degrees of ignition retard, a progressive controller and a suitablly rich a/f ratio a 150 wet shot is very possible on a stock block. I wouldnt run it for every day street racing, but a few times at the track would be ok. Now add some boost and you've got mucho problemas!!!

Stupid me.......

That should have read an S/C with 150-shot of NOS would cause pleasant sounds under the hood followed by voluminous amounts of smoke.....

But, still, I'm ignorant and unafraid to say so.....

Voluminous is my word of the day:

vo·lu·mi·nous (v-lm-ns)
adj.
- Having great volume, fullness, size, or number: a voluminous trunk; a voluminous cloud.
- Filling or capable of filling a large volume or many volumes: the voluminous court record of the long trial.
- Ample or lengthy in speech or writing.
- Having many coils; winding.

Many here think ignorant is a bad word, so I try to use it when it applies to something I don't know a lot about to make everyone *FEEL* better......

I'll agree that the second part was probably gay......I was just trying to be a good liberal and get along......
[/defending myself, but realizing it doesn't really matter...]

someone should PM her, i'm sure we all want to know. now about the 4th and 5th gens. at least all us 4th gen owners don't feel like a$$e$ buying our cars and having one come out a few months later with a 3.5L 6-spd/HLSD. i'd rather not live with that on my mind,
