new mod! 6 home link buttons!

here a new mod I installed in my SEL.. I needed 3 more homelink buttons so I added three more.. I also gained a free compass, and dimming mirrow.. ftl..

here are some pictars..

auto dimming in action

got it from a mazda guy, it's supposed to go on a cx7. for dirt cheap! brand new. It also has temp, but i didn't get that harness, and sensor.. just the power harness.. it looks alright..

thoughts?

How did you wire up the compass?

It's built into the mirrow.. The wiring only consists of power (ign), power(batt), and ground. I tapped into my a pillar for all these three connections. Also, you have glue on whats called a "cam lock" on the windshield, but that's about it.

because he got it for $10. Auto dim with compass and temp? Why would you even worry about the homelink?

I'm still trying to find a good auto dim with compass/temp

Seriously, I'd love to put one on my Trailblazer with homelink. The Max already has the three and that's plenty for me. The compass would be a nice bonus too. Temp no care.
