Watch Jiffy Lube and Other Quick Lube Shops -- Some Cheat

Here is a link to an investigation of Jiffy Lube shops in the LA area. See how many did not do the work.

This is just one reason I do as much of my own work as I can. (And I try to watch when I take my car to the Nissan dealer for work I can't do -- but it's hard to see it all there.)

i hate it how they dont let u see what they are doing, i always like to stare through the window to see whats going on with my car, and i think some people look at me weird cause of that, oh well.

their excuse is that "due to insurance limitations..." cmon if they are certified mechanics what could happen ?

Small slick of oil, you slip, you sue the bejesus out of them. As a non-employee you are not insured.
