Hey guys, I'm in Northeast Florida and yesterday we had a rain of all rains. Well I was sitting at a stoplight and when I moved the car forward water came pouring in through the sunroof (Guess it's been a while since I cleaned the water deposit tracks ) And water went all over the passenger side seat. I couldn't really do anything about it, and I figured it was just water, but it stained my seat after it dried. Now there is a largish brown circle on the seat.

I tried two different types of carpet/upholstery cleaners, as well as just water+ scrubbing and it made the stain a lot "lighter" but it is still noticeable to me. Is there any product or method recommended for getting water stains out? My interior is almost PERFECT and my car is a 1993 and I don't want something stupid like this screwing it up.

ps. My interior is velour.

 

Any pics? Im pretty sure water ruins the appearance of velour, so you shouldnt be using regular fabric cleaning products. You need a way to dry-clean it

 

 

Nevermind... I ended up using my dad's deep-clean carpet shampoo cleaner (The Stair tool) And after 2 washes it completely removed the stain. And the car smells really good
