is this an elecrical problem or what?

i was driving and i realized that my CEL light was flickering, its already on for a bad O2 sensor, but it was going dim-bright-dim-bright-dim-bright, at irregular intervals.....

last week my car went dead while driving, i got a boost and when i took off the positive cable off the battery the car went dead so i took off the alternator got it tested.... it was good so i put it back on and the car worked fine, i dont know if this is related to to the flickering light or not.....

can anyone give me some advice on this please?

If the CEL starts flashing, its usually a cylinder misfire. Take it to Autozone or Oreillys and ask them to scan it.

its not flashing..... it stays on for the O2 sensor ... its going dim-bright-dim-bright-dim-bright, when i open the door and pull up the lever the lights for them comes on and they do it to.... all the lights in the cluster do the same thing...

if your car is running and you pull off the positive terminal off the battery and the car goes dead, that means your alternator is bad right... but what if your alternator is good and it still does that?
