clicking when ac is on....what could it be?

when i turn my ac on there is a clicking noise that is comming from the dash.......it sounds like something is spinning and making the noise, cause whne the ac is on low the sound goes sloer, and when i turn it oss i can hear it slow down till it stops. what could this be cause it is quiet annoying.

easy... you have a leaf in the blower motor... You park under trees and leaves cover your car... you turned on the AC and voila... it got sucked into the a/c ducts and into the blower motor basket...

At least its not a rat stuck in the blower motor.... I saw that once when I worked at Chevy... That ta..HOE stank!!!!!

You've gotta take off the passenger kick panel under the glove box and it'll be underthere... it's usally 3 screws and and electrical connector... once you pull hte motor out look in the basket and you'll see the debris in there...just pull it out and you should be good...

Sometimes it will just go away on its own. I've had that noise one day, and the next day it'll be gone.

^^^I wouldn't count on it, it's possible but a slim chance^^^^
It'll have to break up in the basket or slide through the vanes...
