Child Window Locks On 3rd Gen

Does anyone know if they can be taken off so the windows can go all the way down? Thanks.

It's not a safty issue. The window can only go so far down into the door. The rear doors have the cutout for the wheel well. There isn't room for the window to go down all the way.

yup, Hojo is right

it's not physically possible for the windows to go down all the way because of the shape of the door

It's like this on my 4th gen. Have you ever looked at the size of the window compared to the size of the door (before the wheel well starts to cut into it?) You dont have much room.
