Are you looking for a specific OEM product number or are you asking whether or not the stock Bose system has one...

Well Ive got one answer for you right now. Yes the Bose system has stock tweeters. One on each pillar on the front and maybe one on each of the rear speakers... if they are 3 range.... I dont think they are though.

Or in the door panels, depending on year.

yea, i just went to check the car since my uncle doesn't have it and i see them now (if the a pillars are on the front doors). and since they do have tweeters, instead of getting co-axials, i've decided to get components but will all comp tweeters fit in the stock tweeters? or will i have to make the hole bigger for certain tweeters? and if anyone can recommend me a set of good 6.5" comps and an amp to power it, it will be appreciated.

im pretty sure any tweeter will fit, looking into doing the same thing so advice is welcome for the 6.5's. ive heard good things about infinities for speakers but nothing on the amp.

i was looking at the infinity reference 6020cs for the front stage and the 6022si for the rear and a profile ha1040 amp to power the 2 sets. any opinions on this?

A-pillars are A-pillars, and doors are doors. How could an a-pillar be ON a door?

For reference, early Bose had the tweeters on the A-pillar (upper right-hand corner of the pic):

Later Bose had it on the door (again, upper right-hand corner of the pic):

allright here it is. i've got a pioneer head with jl components in the front and coaxes in the rear. i've also got a jl 6 channel 450 wat amp and an alpine sub and i mounted the front tweeters in the kicker panels since my 95 had the a pillar tweeters setup. try not to mix and match speakers, amps don't matter but you get what you pay for so spend a few dollars more and you'll be alot happier with the end result. and, if you don't have satellite radio, you gotta get it. regular radio sucks a$$.

That's what mp3 players and CDs are for

Either way you can cut a hole in your door for the tweeters. That's what I did in my '95 when I upgraded from bose.

I have the stock bose tweets still in and memphis coax speakers all around and it sounds much better than the bose speakers did.
