hey

i was installing a set of Gen2 coilovers for a 2k Max. WHen i did the rears, i discovered the rear top hats are too small. the bolt holes dont line up, maybe about 1/2" off. Does anyone else have this prob? does anyone have gen2 coilovers on their 2k yet??? thanks

Thanks for giving us the update on the coilovers Turbomax. Did Cattman try them on a 5th gen prior to selling them. I thought he had posted that they would fit, hmm maybe he only tried the fronts. Well I guess our only choice now is GC. Unless Cattman corrects this. Thanks again for the update, I was wondering what was going on with that.

Cattman did say he tried them on a 5th gen. Did he try the whole setup?

 

Zach, Mr. Burner, should know. He's the guinea-pig Cattman used for a few different prototypes.

he did some measuring on my car (didn't put anything on) and measured for the billet strut mounts and for the front brake clearance i believe...the billet strut mounts were slightly different than 4th gens and i believe he had to change around the coils from the 4th gens...he never measured anything on the rear of my car, only on the passenger front...i'm not sure if he used someone elses car for this or if he didn't do it...it wasn't brian catts, it was curtis at maxrev that did all of the measuring
