Recently I attended a "New Car Clinic" that was put on by the dealer I got my car though. I was pretty interesting, alot of older folks there, my dealer also sells Buicks, so that makes sense for old folks to be there. So after alot of dumb questions, from the questions asked, it seemed that these people never drove a car before. But anyways, they allowed you to go ask the mechanics questions, I was asking the Nissan head mechanic about mods and what would void my warrenty, he and the service manager are both mod nuts, so they said anything sort of swapping out a ECU or installing a SC is cool with them. As long it's with in reason, they won't replace clutch after clutch things like that. I was pleasantly surprised, after hearing about crappy Nissan service. I figured I would be SOL with my dealer too. It is Porter Nissan in Newark, DE, if anyone is close and has a lousy dealer. Thanks for listening to me ramble.

If all service departments were cool about mods like that, then things would be so much better....

I dont believe you. There's no way any Nissan service guy could be that cool.

J/K. Lucky you. I'm jealous.
