Auto Sunroof Re-Wire?

Anyone know where the info/thread for the automatic sunroof re-wire is? I searched alot, and looked through 4DSC.com, as well as Craig B's site, and couldn't find it. Any help would be appreciated.

i had that on my old 92 gxe its some kind of aftermarket sunroof that has smaller glass size and they mount a small button pad next to the non sunroof version of map lights, one switch controlled the auto\manual mode and
in auto it would be one touch open or close and auto close when the key was turned off ,kinda neat , i guess it could be just the switch and relays or timers? that make it happen
dont forget to share if you figure it out

Do you know where I can find more info. about this aftermarket sunroof? I have one and I was thinking of replacing it with a oem sunroof but if it's smaller I guess that won't happen. And do you know what the acs button does?

i think its a s c (auto sunroof control)
read my first reply...one touch open or close(vs holding the button for a few seconds) and auto close when keys turned off and i think my gxe keycode pad window down feature would open that kind of roof as well

I did read it but I think mine is screwed up. The sunroof works but when I press and hold or just press a button the sunroof moves an inch at a time.

Hmm, I could have sworn that I saw a write-up somewhere that you could do that re-wire. Oh well, must have been mixing it up with your "auto up & down" window re-wire. Craig, do you think a re-wire for the sunroof would be possible? You would definetely be the guy to figure it out.

Me, too. May be a year or two ago.

It is possible, but would definitely require some extra parts more than just rewiring and relays. Autoloc sells some kits for window auto-up and down that could probably be adapted to work.
If you wanted to get crazy you could design your own circuit with some kind of load sensing trigger to stop the sunroof when it hits the end or use a 555 timer circuit to trigger the sunroof and keep it active for X seconds.
I haven't been that active in the last year or so on this site, but dont recall ever seeing anyone actually do this for the 3rd gen.
