the brake and battery light both came on today at the same time. when i got home i tested the alt with everything on, radio,a/c,headlights..... but yet the charging system is holding steady at 14.3 volts-14.6volts. has anyone had this problem before? and yes the brake fluid is full and sensor is plugged in

 

Check the ALT fuse?

 

alternator fuse, if it was blown would keep it from charging the battery though but ill check anyway for the hell of it

 

Something is wrong with your Alternator.

Check your Alternator fuse, relay ...

If they are fine ... then your Alternator might be in heaven.
