How can i make my car sound like that..
It was freaking cool. THis porchse was just cruising at 25 and it wasnt loud but had a jet fighter type of noise, hard to explain,
It wasnt muffler noise, it was weird. Anyone what they got udner their hood, other than the 1000HP

do you know what model porsche it was? i drive them every day and don't quite know what you are talking about...even the new 911 turbo's don't really have much turbo whine that i've noticed (i guess i'm having too much fun to actually notice any sounds though...except w/ ferraris...those things at full throttle have the best sounding whine you will ever hear in your life)

 

I know what you mean - it's sorta a high-pitched sort of whistly/turbine type noise - even at idle.

My best guess is that it's their air intake setup, or something like that. The AEM CAI on my Accord V6 makes a sound "sort of" like that, but it's not nearly as pronounced. It's more of a hiss on mine vs. maybe a whistle on the Porsche.

Well - something intake-related is my best guess for what it is.
