Paiting taillights all Red

Has anyone ever done this mod?

I wonder what it would look like. I'm thinking of doing it. Let me know what you guys think.

theres a thread on painting tailights in the DIY sticky, and for a preview, just photoshop the white/reds.. honestly, depending on the color max, this could look good.

Makes the tails look like housefly eyes

It doesn't look bad. Do it if you like it. The only problem would be the reverse lights - you'd have to figure out how to get a white color through red paint.

I would try it on your set of stock tail lights before ruining a pair of red/clears. That is, unless, you cleared your stock tail lights.

I just did it the other day, and I masked off the reverse lights on the inner half...Looks really good. All it took was two cans of paint for four bucks each and a couple of hours to kill. I think it was better than spendin a couple hundred bucks for Altezzas
