Okay guys, on your stock rims you have 225x50s as a upgraded size, on a 16x6.5 rim. I ran this size as well, and even though the manufacture does not recommend it because of safety reasons you guys still use them without problems right? Well, it seems alot of the 5th gen newbies should I say, think they should not go to 235 or 245 on a 17x7 rim which is stock. I already know several people who have 235 on the stock rims, and one person who has 245s without a problem. Even though the manufacture says its unsafe, they still do it. IS it REALLY unsafe? I mean please come on now, there is a slight amount of buldge, and people have been doing it for years without problems. To see pics of a 245x45 mounted on a 17x7 rim go here:
