3.5 with a 100shot of nitrous

hey my long term goal is a 100shot of nitrous with a 3.5 swap but I am a auto

I am getting my tranny rebuild cause it's dying but I am having built with a 2400rpm tc, vb job and heavy duty clucthes

now for the question do you think a auto tranny with these mods with stay together with a 3.5 and 100shot

with an auto trans, it will work, but i wont last long. I dont think there are very many mods for the auto trans on the 3.5. i would just say swap with with a manual. Its really not that hard

It will last fine enough, it all depends on how you treat it. Jime has a 3.5 on his auto, no problems. He's also put it through it's paces with nitrous. Same with grey99max, who will soon have a third stage of nitrous on it. Those two have stock trannies, too. So your upgraded one should be just fine with proper maintenance and without a ton of WOT downshifts and abusive things like that.

Hi - the first tranny was an open-differential, so I got a low-mileage 99 Infiniti I30t VLSD tranny to replace the first one. Also added a 2800-stall Edge torque converter for good luck.

Now both tires spin together. A lot. Through 3 gears. With slicks. These trannys are tough suckers.

Find one of these for your car. Add the Shift_Fast controller. Enjoy the ride.

go All out

Go 4 it.
I have heard good things about Action transmission (with domestics)
Let us know how they are.
I would also suggest a vlsd That is if you can find one 4 dirt cheap. It also decreases vehicle down time .You could just pick up the trans when they are finish & install it yourself. 1 long saturday/2 days tops.
My vlsd worked great through the winter. it never got stuck like my open diff 4th gens did. It was like night & day. But now it bumps into 2nd. Any ways Hit me up since your local I can assists http://www.cardomain.com/id/weelman1

If you're wiling to take a drive up to mass I'll give you an auto vlsd for $50, it has 200k on it, shifted fine, it's been sitting at a local junkyard for months and when I was there the other day he said he might have finally found someone to buy it, but if it's still there I can pick it up for you.

If you do the proper supporting mods I see no reason why the automatic can't handle it. Jime has been has been playing the nitrous auto game for ages now.

It was in fine shape - just had an annoying habit of spinning one front wheel instead of two. So I did a VLSD transplant, which is still working fine, and spins both wheels.

Stopped by one today. Matthews on passyunk $400 firm delivered . Way more than your $50 offer. even if he ships it it will still be cheaper than matthews.Only thing is you can hand pic from atleast 2 vlsd & atleast 3 open diffs.on passyunk, with half the miles.
Try gianna salvage.

Darryl.
