odd cold start and oil level sensor problems

when the car has been sitting and is cooled off, ill start the car, then when i go to take off, the car stumbles badly for about 3 seconds, then is ok from then on. it revs fine, its just when the car is in gear and i am attempting to pull away. it doesnt do it on hot starts or any other time when driving.

also, i noticed something dangling under my car. it was the wiring for the oil level sensor, if thats the name for the sensor that mount by the oil filter facing the back of the car. im sure all my axle installs and uninstalls beat the **** outta that harness. will that cause any problems? i dont have a code for it right now.

Are they cold starts as in the temp gauge is actually pegged below C, or just that it's been sitting for a few hours?

That's the oil pressure switch, we don't have a level sensor. The only problem that it'll cause is you won't know when you've lost oil pressure. With that VQ35 drinking oil, that may be an issue

But basically, you won't know if/when you lose oil pressure. No biggie if the motor actually has oil in it, and you aren't revving the **** out of it (like, 9 grand or thereabouts, where the oil pump grenades and kills all those around you).

I don't remember your specifics as far as the 3.5 swap goes, you don't happen to have a wideband and some sort of engine management, do you?
