hmmm well I was just coming home tonite... and going the other ways was this Lexus... i assume GS300 cuz i beat it... and in it... is some teenager (obviously drivin his mommas car) it was a 2000 model i'm sure... and he saw me, busts a U, and comes back... I saw him coming... and as the light changed i dropped the clutch and at the same time he musta floored his GS cuz that thing has a sweet scream... and bam i nailed him big time before his lane merged into mine...
later.. on the same road.. there was a civic all riced out... with one of those "powered by Honda" banners... and he pulled up next to me as i was making a left turn, guns his engine... well end of story.. it was a POS i won rah rah so what
and i almost never race, but by the way the Lexus driver was driving i figured it'd be better for me to whup him rather than him trying to make me race him all the way on my way home... and the civic... i was jus pumped up and the fool reved at me

now the civic is nothing impressive.. but the GS.. i think it was a 300 well pretty darned sure cuz I beat him... have you guys had any run ins with them? how do you guys do?

 

Ya gotta love it when people decide their car is faster, when most times they arent. The other night after work a friend of mine figured hed try to race my max with an eclipse, well i was just crusing at 60mph and he flew by me, so i just dropped it into 3rd and hammered it, he didnt get more then 2 car lengths ahead before i took him around 85 and from 105 up he was toast. I was ready to race anybody willing the rest of the night. And i never race either.

I've raced numerous civics with B16As, B18Bs with basic bolt ons and have beaten them all, 4th, 5th and 6th gen civics. I have also got beaten by civics. (I hope no one decides to start lecturing me on civics, I've owned 2, both substantially modded). Good job on beating the civic, you never know whether a civic is a 17 second car or a 12 second car. And sweet job on the GS too, sounds like he was a little cocky and needed to get beaten.

 

my mom has one and i hate driving it, its luxirous and everything but i hate the auto tranny in there. i cant feel the gears shift.. but its a pimp car. the GS300 is pretty jumpy off the line but after 30MPH it has nothing left in it. i raced a newer mustang GT convertable with 3 people in it, and i took them off the line by about 1 car but after it switches to second gear, it just crawls forward...

 

I'm suprised you beat the GS300. I thought they were faster than that but I really don't know. But the new GS430...5.9 second 0-60 . You must drive well. As for the Civic...just read this post's subject...

 

GS300 are a different story when you drop 2 turbos in the hood...after all, it's the same I-6 used on the Supra.

 

how many GS300 TT's are there? i remember seeing one a while back, maybe 1-2 years ago. i think it was running low 13's or high 12's, and i think it was an auto too with full interior. have anymore info regarding it, i cant find it?
