When my car is running i hear a bubbling come from the overflow bottle and when I turn the car off it bubbles for approx. 5 min afterwards. Is this normal and what are the first things to look for?

 

Doesn't sound normal. I'm not sure but you could possible have a blown head gasket. Check the muffler and touch where the exhaust is coming out. If it smells like antifreeze than you definitely blew your head gasket.

 

I would check the radiator cap first, it may not be holding pressure anymore.

 

You need a new radiator i bet you got it hot or ran it low with water. First try this. open the radiator not the reserve when its cool and see if there is any water if there is not any fill it up to the top.. start the car let it suck down. Then fill it some more to the top.. close it fill up the reserve ALL the way to the top. If it stops doing it and the reserve goes down in like a week your radiator is leaking. I am not 100 percent sure this is the problem that your having but i am sure that is the problem i had.
