Is there an aftermarket hood for the 4th Gen. Maxima? or maybe a scoop that can be put on?

 

visracing.com used to have scoops for sale , i was thinking of getting one. but now when i go there i cant find them. if you find one on there let me know. otherwise, i know the sarona.com has a scoop in their new kit for the maxima. but i dont know if you can just buy the scoop. also; a company called FiberImages has a new carbon fiber hood , and a carbon kevlar hood (for colors) that you can get , but i dont have the web address for that.

 

Thanks for the help. I'll call Sarona today! I have there catalog but I never saw a scoop in it but then again, they didn't have a pic of the newest body kit either.

 

Go to jcwhitney.com and type in hood scoops. There a few there. A friend of mine ordered the LUND® ECLIPSE™ HOOD SCOOP KIT for his truck but hasn't put them on yet. Some of they say they are for trucks only but I don't see why you couldn't put them on a car.

 

I checked out all the ones at JC! The file I attached is the one I like best, what do you guys think? Would it look good on a 95 Peal White SE? I also have the Sarona body kit coming and I could have them painted at the same time!

i thought that the sarona kit came with a little "scoop" type looking thing already ?? am i wrong ??

 

you know, maybe it does. I called Sarona today and asked if they had one and they said they have 2 and one of them is pictured in the Sport Compact Car Magazine so I ran to the store and bought one and the only pic I saw of the Maxima was the one with the whole body kit. I guess I better wait for my body kit to show up before I go and order a scoop.

 

if the sarona kit has a scoop ... would you maybe want to sell it , if youre getting the scoop from JCwhitney ? ill pay good money for it, but let me know soon , i might buy a new head unit...but i really want that scoop

 

I might be interested but I'm not really going to know until it gets here. I really like the one from JC that has two parts to it, one down each side by Lund but it says its for trucks only? why wouldn't it fit on a Max? The one with the Sarona kit looks a little small for me but I want to make sure before I comit to selling it.

 

I would get a carbon fiber hood. I saw a Maxima with one and it looked really nice. A little ricey, but really nice. Just trying to help.
