this is the hose behind the plenum i have it run to the vacuum gallery line that connects to the fuel pressure regulator hose. the vaccum gallery is those goldish lines that run behind the throttle body

On my 92 SE 5spd the fuel pressure regulator vacuum hose connects to the nipple with the gold tag that says don't remove when engine is hot or words to that effect.

It started and held idle somewhat, so not all is lost. Try to take some good photos of your hoses and then we can tell you what is hooked up wrong.

And then check the other 3 coils

Thats a big deal, and probably the answer to 92-94% of your engine problems.

The only thing that sticks out to me is in SUC50768, where there should be a nozzle instead of just a hose on that small valve at the back of the plenum. Thats the one you asked about here: http://forums.maxima.org/showthread.php?t=525925

Yeah sort-of , its a tiny thing and sits there connected by a short hose. Take off the hose there now and block off that port on the plenum, check how it runs. You can just stand right there and pull the trottle manually while holding a finger over the hole, and see if its any smoother.

I'm still betting on the coils.

I can't post a picture, but in the picture in MyGreenMax94 above posted at 9:32, if you look at the picture, to the left of the throttle cables there is a red connector. Just below this is the yellow/gold tag I'm talking about.

so by my one coil being bad it will still not run correctly or struggle to run i should say. the idle is fine just can do anything other than that.

If the coil is so-so then it will run decent sometimes. If this has been an ongoing thing, then its probably bad already so its like running with 5 cylinders. It will be tolerable at idle, and shake like crazy at higher RPMs because there is no balance in the engine and you have 2 cylinders working against 3.

Disconnect the coil harness while its running and see if it changes, most likely there will be no difference.

Disconnect the opposite coil, and both their injectors. Then drive around your V4 Maxima until new coils ship in, it will run a bit smoother than on 5 cylinders.

You mean you dont want to pull the plenum just for kicks?

The cable going to the rear injectors actually connects to a single harness thats not under the plenum, but it may be tricky to block the pins for a single injector.

I guess leave that injector alone for now, it will just spew out a bit of fuel, but disconnecting stuff on the opposite cylinder should make the car slightly more "driveable" while you wait.
