Control arm Bushings

I have a 92 maxima and it has to get new control arm bushings. I was just wondering if they were a pain in the butt to install or if I should have a shop install them.

well the guy who I bought it from thought it was the cv joints and my dad took a look at it and said that they look alright to him. And after looking at it more he noticed that the bolt for the bottom control arm was not in the center as the right side. And everytime i step on the brake reeeeealy hard it makes a "clunk" noise and they kinda squeek when ever the transmission shifts really hard like when I floor it. So my dad says they must be shot. And thats what I'm hoping it is.
