Anyone try or know if the Stillen Altima Y-Pipe will work on the 6th gen Maxima? Seems like a fair price...esp if you use the group buy thread for Stillen on this forum. I have an '04 Automatic SE that I'm die'n to get one for....

Just wait a month or so for Cattmans y-pipe and then he will also have the manifolds available to make it a "headers" system

 

It'll be priced a lot higher too...probably $100 more than Stillen. So I'll take the Stillen price

Just be patient and buy somethign that is MADE for our car... not something for a different applicationl.. trust me it will be worth the extra 100 or so...

 

Good luck if it doesnt fit, why not just wait for a product made for our cars other than take a gamble?

yes the Altima Y-Pipe fits the Maxima. My buddy has a 05' and he got it on. If I recall, he had to do an extremely minor bend on the pipe to get it screwed on or whatever them shops do. When the heck is Cattman gonna release his??? So many peeps is saying soon but does anyone know of a set date????

 

Mid to late July was last Cattman told me. It'll come in 2 flavors...one with cats and one without.

 

yea alot of people would recommend cattman these days.

no i have magnaflows but i one of the 3 test cars he is using for his new header/y pipe that comes out soon

 

Or just buy whatever you want.
