I am looking to upgrade my J30 SOHC engine to one from a (1995-1998) A32 DOHC engine. I am wondering if anyone has done this already (sure of it)
and perhaps tell me what was involved, straight forward or hard..ect..
By the way I can only use an auto version as the Aussie spec didn't offer manual trans..

The swap is anything but straight forward,many parts have to be fabricated/wiring would be a complete nightmare(4th gen instrument gauges=Digital/vs. 3rd gen analog) etc.etc.etc.




Only 2 org members that i know of have done this swap,the first one looked to be a hack job with not much info about it..The other member had a shop do all the fabrication work,so he couldn't provide anyone with any useful information on the swap..And last,neither of these members post here anymore...So you are pretty much out of luck if you are looking for specific info on how to do this swap...
