I have a complete vq30de out of a 98 for sale. Pulled it out for my VQ35 swap. NO timing equipment or anything has been removed to swap over to my engine (minus the sensors obviously). It has 257k on it. It is complete, high mileage I know, seeing if anyone needs it. This engine actually runs great and has no problems whatsoever. It starts right up, runs great, no ticks or knocks, still pulls hard. I will sell the complete engine for 250 bucks, or will part it out accordingly. Just curious, how hard is the 3.5 swap? Straight up, bolt right up, or is the wiring and motor mounts a pain in the ***? Tranny bolt up?

200 sure take it.

3.5 is easy. it bolts up motor and all, some minor wiring (injectors, extending iacv harness, coil pack harness). go to the all-motor section theres a sticky at the top about 3.5 and 00vi threads compressed into 1 topic.

 

Now let me just find a decent 5 speed for cheap.

 

I'm a little lost here...In one post it's free and in the other it cost? Is this the same engine as the free one?

 

what are you doing with your AC? keeping it or tossing it... I need an AC compressor clutch.

 

this is a good vq30de engine. the one in the free car is beat but runs.
