leaking oil?

so i was crawling under my car today and noticed my left passenger control arm was gunked up. I looked up behind the oil pan right where the o2 sensor wires coming from the y-pipe are and noticed what i'm guessing is some kind of an oil leak. None of the liquid makes it to the ground but the components under the area in question are somewhat saturated. Any ideas?

heres a pic:

I had a leak in this area. Also noticed on my car that the power steering fluid low lower than normal. I tightened the power steering hoses in the area of your picture. So far so good on my car. I hope this helps you!

Sometimes the power steering rubber hoses leak because the clamps lose compression. I solved a few minor leaks by retightening the hose clamps.

If that leak is coming from one of the hoses with a banjo fitting, then you might consider replacing that hose and using new crush washers.
