What tire size will fit 17*7s? I had 215s on there now, but will 225s fit? What else will?

 

Oh no......not this again......

Nissan uses 225/50s on 17x7s, and many 5th gen guys with the 17" rim use 235s.......then there's the 245 "flame" thread yesterday in the 5th gen forum.

All I can say about using 245/45s on there is it's your life.

You'll likely be frustrated at the pathetic selection for 225/50s, so 235/45 is the largest you can go that tire and wheel manufacturers recommend that will allow you the widest selection. No manufacturers recommend going 245 width on a 7" rim, despite what others want to believe.
