02 G20 Sport in AX5

I lurk around but don't post much. Recently traded my B15 Sentra in on this 02 G20 Sport. Thought you might enjoy some pics.

I hit it with a good hand wash, then clay bar, followed by Liquid Glass polish and Liquid Glass sealer. I love this color in the sun....

The pics are at a local park that is on a bluff over the Mississippi.

Nice trade. The G20's are very nice cars and I like them a lot for what they are. They seem to be extremely rare in central PA, though.

Thanks all... they are a lot more car than the B15. Good handling and good fuel economy (my combined driving has been between 27-28 MPG) and much more comfortable than the B15. Even with the SR20/auto, it is smokin' fast compared to my old 1.8/Auto GXE.

This one came from Madison, Wisconsin and looks better in the pics I posted than when we picked it up. The dealers delivery was pathetic...

Here are some interior pics after I detailed it...

I am happy with it ... most of the time I drive it like an old man around town. My reading says the QR25DE/Auto Sentras get the numbers you mention. I wonder of FWD v/s RWD might factor in this...

I wanted a 4th Gen but could not justify two cars taking premium... So I drove the G and really like the total package. I did not feel that way about the Sentra...

Plans? I some Nissan and Primera badges on their way from Spain at this time. I stalled the 16" SE/SE-R Sentra wheels on it since the pics because they have new tires on them. For performance, possibly a header and cat-back or a Maxima muffler in the future. I might remove the Bose head and install my Alpine CDA-9847 next year. But mostly I plan drive the wheels off of it. My old Fury in storage will get my attention when grad school is done.

Yeah same around Eastern PA, there is one I see time to time besides that I NEVER see them. Its a shame too because I think they look awesome and definitely have potential.

It definitely grab attention more than the beige Sentra and is much classier looking. G20's are also pretty unusual in the part of the country.

For around $150, you can pick up an SS Autochrome header - dyno proven gains and quite good quality for the price. Mate that up with a nice air intake and you'll definately feed a difference in power. SR20's are quite friendly with bolt-ons.
The exhaust, similiar to the Maxima, is already pretty good free-flow unless your going for mad tight powa yo.
There is not much that can go wrong with these SR20's. When I was selling my '96 P10, I contemplated a P11 before I got the Max, but interior space seemed a bit too cramped for a family of 4. I'm also not much of a fan of the roller rocker version you got, but it's still quite bullet proof.

Header info is good to know. Where would you suggest to purchase from? I considered a CAI too...

As for exhaust, muffler has started to rust out...

I have had 4 in the P11 and while it is OK, I know why you chose the A33.5. Since there are only two of us, and we have a larger car if needed, this fit the bill perfect as my daily personal transportation.

I too have read about the difference in the earlier SR20 and the RR I have. with the auto it really needs another 500 RPMs before the tranny shifts from first to second. But, compared to my QG18DE/Auto Sentra this is wick-ed fastz!

Wow. Choices have definately gotten widespread since I purchased my headers. (Yes 2 of them. For the price I paid I bought a spare, but sold it when I sold the car)

eBay is your best bet or go to www.g20.net or www.sr20forum.com. There are always group buys on stuff.
