FS: 4th gen trans with cryo'd/detailed gears, new bearings, etc.

Just finished this trans up tonight. Highlights of this trans are:

1st gear - cryo treated and detailed 5th gen gear (double synchro as opposed to single synchro as in 95-96 transmissions)
2nd gear - cryo treated and detailed 5th gen gear
3rd gear - detailed 5th gen gear
4th gear - detailed 5th gen gear
Brand new reverse idler gear
Brand new 2nd gear synchro
Brand new 3rd gear synchro

Brand new differential carrier bearings (aka side bearings)
Brand new input shaft bearings

Brand new input shaft seal
Brand new striking rod seal

Shift rails detailed and polished for smoother shifting
Hubs buffed for smoother shifting
Sleeves buffed for smoother shifting
Shift selectors and fingers detailed and polished for smoother gear changes

Glass beaded transmission case - so clean you could eat off of it
Case oil modded for more oil flow to input shaft front bearing

Properly shimmed to the following specs:
Input shaft: 1.41mm shim used (1.37-1.42mm req'd to be in spec)
Differential: 1.68mm shim used (1.67-1.72mm req'd to be in spec)
Main shaft: 1.23mm shim used (1.18-1.23mm req'd to be in spec)

OK so here's the deal. Will this trans be stronger than a stock 4th gen trans? Yes. Will this transmission be indestructible? Absolutely not - no one can ever guarantee that about any trans. What I can guarantee is that this trans is shimmed properly and that the work above is done to try to make this transmission as strong as possible within the limitations of the tiny, wimpy gears that the manufacturer uses and that the trans should shift incredibly due

Price is $1100 shipped right to your door. I will take care of shipping through Fedex insured ground shipping through my work. PM me. Paypal or cashier's check accepted.
