fuel injector leak

fuel injector leak

i have a injector that does seem to be all the way down. it seems i c gas around the top of it do i no its leaking. other than bad gas mileage does anyone think of any other problems this may cause. i think its the source of my hard starting but im not sure. not that im going to leave it as it is i just wanted to ask

Sounds like you pinched one of the o'rings when you installed the injector in question..

Yes,this should be fixed as soon as possible,this could cause an engine fire if left to leak..

well as i look at it it just looks as though its not all the way down. im not sure if that what u mean by pinch the o-ring. thanx for thoughts. glad i havnt been driving it

Did you lube up the little black o'rings on the injectors before installation into the rail?

also,were the o'rings on the set you bought new,or old?

The pinched o'ring is most likely ruined,so you will prolly need a new one..

if you are not sure if it is ruined,post pics of said o'ring,and while your at it,the leaking injector..
