Wuddup. Two questions for you chaps, I hope y'all can help...

1) Anyone have a part number on the four plastic rivets that hold the fuel filler neck shield into place? I've been to the dealer three times already about it and keep on getting the run around as they do not appear to be in the computer.

2) The top of the gas tank has some one-sided foam-like cushion tape on the top of it. Does anyone know where I can pick up some like it locally? It is very similar to the cushion tape found under the spare tire. (i.e. black, about two inches wide and about four inches long.)

1. For the rivet, try another dealer and take in the rivet.
2. For rubber tape, try a window glass shop or gasket shop. See under windows and under gaskets in the yellow pages.

 

I've found the plastic fasteners at body parts and auto paint stores. Also, you can order them through NAPA. Take the fastener in and match it as close as you can.
