Search function dead, knock sensor Q

Alright yes this is most likely a dumb question but the search function is dead and I was wondering if, in order to replace the knock sensor, you have to remove the lower intake manifold?

Did you find a k/s code?

If so,then yes you need to remove the upper/lower intake manifolds, also the large coolant pipe under the lower intake must be removed.

stickies have more detailed info.
but basically you turn the screw on the ECU and the 2 lights flash out the code.
